I have had discussions with both the FDA and the USDA and an import permit is being issued for the supply of a ROTAVAX VACCINE from a reputable biological laboratory in Australia. The imports will be made with the guidance of both departments which include certain rules that must be adhered to. These are termed GMP rules (Good Manufacturing Procedures). Guidelines are indicated below:

• The source must be a recognized, registered manufacturer of Rotavirus Vaccines.
• The proof of the efficacy of the vaccine must be presented.
• The COLD CHAIN of the import and secondary distribution must be adhered to – 2 to 8 degree Celcius must be maintained and recorded.
• Batch samples must be retained for future reference if required for laboratory testing.

FYI, a PMV1 vaccine is available from a USA manufacturer called ARKO Laboratories. There is NO Rotavirus vaccine available that is legally imported. This will be the only recognized Rotavirus vaccine available to you in 2026.
